Convenient Access from
3 Train Stations
The campus is conveniently located just a 6-minute walk from both Takadanobaba Station on the JR East and Tozai Subway Line, and Nishi-waseda Station on the Fukutoshin Line. It attracts a diverse student body, not only from nearby wards like Shinjuku but also from areas as far as Nakano, Toshima, Bunkyo, and Chiyoda. We have also had the privilege of welcoming international students from countries such as the United States, Dubai, South Korea, and China, further enriching the diversity of our school community.
Playing Outside Everyday at Toyama Park!
Several parks are located near Waseda Campus, including the expansive Toyama Park, where students can relax, enjoy nature, and play on the playgrounds. It is not uncommon to see students bringing plants or insects they have found back to class, eagerly looking them up in books to learn more. In these natural settings, students nurture not only healthy bodies but also develop curiosity and inquisitive minds.
International Baccalaureate Programme
As an IB World School since January 2019, we engage students and teachers in inquiry-based learning through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). Starting in the K3 class, students explore four units each year, delving into globally relevant themes. K2 students also participate in inquiry-based activities as a bridge to the PYP. Through daily play and learning, students are encouraged to research, think critically, present ideas, and create, helping them develop a global perspective that embraces diverse cultures, identities, and experiences.
After School Program
and School Bus
We offer a variety of After School Programs that are popular with our students, including soccer, gymnastics, karate, ballet, street dance, cheerdance, music, and programming. These activities provide students with enriching experiences that nurture their interests and skills. Even families with busy schedules can feel confident that their children are exploring new passions and participating in extracurricular-style activities during the regular school day.
The school bus service is available on two routes: one covering Edogawabashi, Kojimachi, Iidabashi, and Akebonobashi in the east, and the other covering Ochiai, Ikebukuro, and Higashi Shinjuku in the west. Many families make use of this bus service, not only on their way to school in the morning, but also when leaving school until 16:00 pm.

CAMPUS
LEADERS
At Waseda Campus our learning community consists of children who are rich in personality and full of a
contagious kind of energy that invigorates our parents and guardians, teachers, and staff.
To support the
development of the children’s individuality, open-mindedness, and communication skills, daily activities on
campus provide opportunities for everyone to express their own ideas and opinions safely. We also aim to create
an age-appropriate environment that encourages curiosity about a variety of subjects, including the global
community.
We believe that children can develop the adaptability they need to face a world without answers,
or when their own opinions differ from those of others, from an early age. For this reason, our school places
great emphasis on nurturing children’s ability to think.
Our staff will share the daily growth of the
children with their parents and guardians, and offer support through the joys and worries of growing up
together.
