ALA SATURDAY
PROGRAM Action Learning Academy

AOBA Action Learning Academy (ALA) is a completely new style of an English learning program offering 40 lessons a year on Saturdays at each Aoba Group campus, where students enjoy learning English through action.
Unlike cram schools, using mainly textbooks and pens, this program uses interactive displays and involves both mind and body movement, making it the most efficient and enjoyable way to acquire conversation skills in English and an international mindset.

A-JB Shibaura Campus will be closed at the end of March 2025 and be integrated into A-JB Harumi Campus from April 1st of the same year.
Accordingly, the ALA Saturday Program trial lessons of Shibaura Campus have been closed.

AOBA original teaching
materials and
”Scholastic" teaching materials

AOBA's original teaching materials developed by the ALA teacher for children who study English once a week.
In addition, we use a wide range of materials from Scholastic, the world's largest publishing company of English language books for children.
We also use digital devices to provide children with materials that make learning English fun.

3 hours of English shower

This is not a textbook-only English study program, but a 100% English environment that challenges students to "communicate in English". Students will learn English for 3 hours through a variety of approaches including crafts and other activities.

Online Books "Bookflix" and Borrowing English Picture Books

Students and parents have access to Scholastic's English library "Bookflix", free of charge. In addition, English picture books are available at each campus for students to borrow for storytelling and reading practice at home.
