We are pleased to share an important update about the future of our Nakano Campus. As part of our commitment to providing enriching educational experiences, we will be transitioning from Aoba-Japan Bilingual Preschool (A-JB) Nakano to Aoba-Japan International School (A-JIS) Nakano, starting from April 1st, 2027.
This transition presents a wonderful opportunity for our families and students to continue their educational journey within a dynamic, globally-minded environment, and it offers a seamless pathway for students to progress through the continuum of education at Aoba-Japan International School (A-JIS), with direct entry into Grade 1 and beyond.
Moving into an international school setting allows us to further align our curricula within the Aoba Group of Schools, and enables our students to develop the skills and mindset necessary for success in an interconnected and rapidly changing world. While Nakano Campus will cease operations as a "Bilingual" campus, as A-JIS, we will continue to promote strong development of Japanese language and cultural learning through Japanese classes.
Throughout this transition, our priority remains supporting our families and ensuring a smooth and positive experience. We are committed to maintaining the high level of care, support, and educational excellence you have come to expect from Aoba.

Campus Tour Information
A-JB Nakano will recommence campus tours from January 2026. Reservations will also open in January, and can be made below.
Note that the tour is to view the campus facilities and learning environment. Details about the transition to A-JIS will be offered at a later date.
